6. Through knowledge about various position in welding

7. Shall be able to avoid distortion by following sequences, fixing clamps & using proper sixe of electrode

8. Aware of volt & amps requirements for various size & type of electrodes

9. Aware of Pre-heating, Post heating & PWHT requirements

10. Aware of simple NDT techniques like DPT, MPT

11. Aware of various welding defects & its remedy: know how to distinguish weld, is it reference junction or not?
